Logic1000 – "All In For You" (feat. KUČKA)

Logic1000 has always understood that movement isn't just physical. “All In For You” catches the other kind, the tiny internal shift that happens when you finally stop negotiating with yourself and give in.

KUČKA is perfect for it. Her vocal seems to hover somewhere just beyond reach while Logic1000 builds underneath it, never crowding the space or hurrying toward some enormous payoff. There's no need. The pleasure is in realizing you've already wandered completely inside the record before you noticed it happening.

That makes “All In For You” a pretty perfect introduction to Confirmation!, Logic1000's sophomore album arriving October 2 via Therapy/Because Music. She's described the record as being centered around self-belief, acceptance and embracing every version of yourself, which sounds suspiciously healthy for music this good at making me forget what time it is.

The title isn't exactly hiding the assignment. “I'm all in for you,” KUČKA tells us right up front, and from there the song keeps finding different ways to say it. Sometimes it's a declaration. Sometimes it's a look. Sometimes it's knowing what someone means before they manage to get the words out. “Just show how you feel, another way / By lookin' at me.” Apparently eye contact is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

By the end, “All In For You” feels less like a grand romantic declaration than the moment when saying it out loud becomes almost beside the point. They know. You know. At this point, the title is just confirmation.
