I'm really glad you're here.

If we're going to spend some time together, I should tell you a little about Kick Kick Snare.

We're not trying to be first. There are already plenty of places keeping score, chasing headlines, and posting every release before breakfast. We prefer to spend a little more time with things.

Most of what you'll find here is new music, but not exclusively. Great songs have a habit of resurfacing when you need them most. Sometimes the best discovery isn't what's new. It's what you somehow missed.

To us, music is more interesting when viewed through a personal lens. Every review is less a score and more a portrait. An interpretation. A snapshot of where a song takes us, what it reminds us of, or the strange corners of life it manages to illuminate.

Alongside reviews, you'll find playlists, interviews, photographs, observations, rabbit holes, favorite lyrics, cover art, concert stories, and the occasional obsession.

At its core, Kick Kick Snare is simply a collection of things we love and think you might love too.
