Often, I’ll be sitting in a quiet, tranquil environment and get the urge to destroy every bit of peace in the room.  Internal outbursts include: the need to scream, shout, flip a table or something else equally disruptive to get the feeling of ‘need’ to go away.  WebMD says I either have OCD, built-up frustration against my reglemented surroundings, or I'm just a typical psychopath. But I say I'm just Young and Wild.

Enter: The Magnettes; my new physiologists, new best friends and band responsible for my new favorite song.  I honestly don't even know which lyric to reference because each one cripples me with how personal it feels.  Their sound has been described as "infectious and inimitable glitter punk pop" which I'm down with.  The punk scene I've always found to be close-knit.  Rebellious, yes, but there for each other whatever the situation may be.  In this case, I just need some company on the dance floor and "Young and Wild" at max volume.  Who's with me?

‘Young and Wild’ was the last song we wrote for our album, and it’s sort of the one that sums it all up. It’s about bliss and fearlessness, realizing that the moment you’ve been waiting for is now, and about holding on to one another when things get rough.
