[PREMIERE] The Thens: Sure Not Growing Up

[PREMIERE] The Thens: Sure Not Growing Up

When I say stab your board into the sand and bring the mashed potato, I’m not talking about the vegetable.  Think psycho beach dance party fueled by s’mores and the sounds of surf rock duo, The Thens, comprised of singer/bassist Max Greenhalgh and drummer Ryan Mack.  Their debut single, “Sure Not Growing Up,” is forever in its early-twenties reluctantly living the total let-down realization of being on the brink of being considered an "adult.” I say, ignorance is bliss -- as is the announcement of the band's full-length album 'Lessons In Being Late' scheduled for release on April 14th via San Diego-based label Postmark Records. Expect songs of youthful angst, maturing (or a lack of), ex-girlfriends, and bonfire-hopping -- headed to a town near you soon -- dressed up in a collection of crunchy pop tunes.
