Matthew Koma - Kisses Back (Golden Coast Remix)

If only you could take kisses back in real life. In the least, kissing booths should come with a Returns department. Or the option to simply ship the kisses back in a prepaid envelope for a refund. Bonus if you can swap out human kisses for puppy ones. Before I completely plummet off track, grab some ChapStick, lip gloss, or balm and pucker up for this remix of Matthew Koma's "Kisses Back". Well known for their slow-rolling synth pop, Golden Coast deliver their signature sound and tie things up with bass-intensive flip. No refund necessary.

Kaskade & Felix Cartal - Fakin' It (zacheser Edit)

I don't know about you, but I can't seem to hide from all the NYE chatter. This club, that club, pre-sale, VIP, bottle service, rent a house, trip to Vegas. I'm about to stay at home and bang on a pot with my dog. Similar to my current mood, although I'd like to exchange the pot for smokeable pot. Of course as I'm typing this, the vocal is repeating "gotta figure it out" so many times, it's like it knows I'm a hot mess express that should somehow run itself over. Let's reel this back in. All the NYE plans aside, if I could choose to do anything I wanted it would be to rent out Tenants of The Trees in Silver Lake (a cocktail bar reminiscent of a secluded mid-century residence with a sunroom and tree canopied patio) invite my closest friends, provide an open bar and hire zachesser to curate the evening's music. 808 percussion patterns, neon drenched synths, Dirtybird inspired basslines, yes, yes, yes. Case in point, this remix of "Fakin It" by Kaskade and Felix Cartal featuring spliced vocals courtesy of Ofelia K. A boy can dream.

Metronomy - Hang Me Out To Dry (With Robyn) - Remixes

You had me at Metronomy. You would have also had me at Robyn. So I'm pretty much had here. The sonic autuer and Swedish pop singer deliver a one-two punch by the name of "Hang Me Out To Dry." Actually, what was a one-two punch is now a one-two-three-four punch with two accompanying remixes added to the equation. We get a deconstructed, percussion-heavy remix from future house sommelier Seven Davis Jr, and a little engine that could chugger from London-based producer duo Waze & Odyssey. Contrasting Robynโ€™s soaring hook, both remixes simmer with pulsating bass and insistent disco grooves and are highly recommended.

Justice - We Are Your Friends (k?d Remix)

If ever there were a song that could pretty much guarantee sending a dance floor crowd into a psychotic frenzy, it's "We Are Your Friends" by Justice. So, a trophy goes to k?d for a winning song selection. Although the trophy won't mean much soon, because the remix is blowing one mind at a time and it's likely to continue spreading until all minds are blown. So, I guess this is it. The end in sight. I say let's just turn the music up to max volume, and let's go out with a bang!
