[PREMIERE] Taka Perry: Slow
If they make a sequel for 2011's Drive, Taka Perry should be an accomplice to Ryan Gosling's character. One skilled Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a getaway driver for criminals, and one producer who releases tracks with subliminal messages, or maybe revealed secrets and clues when played backwards. No million-dollar heist would ever go horribly wrong, nor would any set of car speakers ever be listened to the same. Just two vengeful masterminds trailblazing their our path fleeing any scene without a trance, but no doubt leaving their mark.
"SLOW is about delusions, fantasies, and figments of imagination. I think of it as a love song with a dark, deranged twist. It’s about not being able to find what you’re looking for, so instead creating a fictional version of it.” – Taka Perry
UPDATE: With every great track, there needs to be an accompanying visual, and luckily that's the case for "Slow," check it out:
