Jamie Prado: Milk & Honey EP
My obsession with Jamie Prado is on that Kathy Bates level in Stephen King's Misery. I'm currently sitting outside his house ready to kidnap and trap him; he'll be my James Caan and I think will be super excited to write me my own LP, you know? I just picked up these local hardware store items, too. **points to a block of wood and sledgehammer** I'm so excited to surprise him!
My mental issues aside, Jamie Prado is basically my modern-day Deee-lite, which I've reminded him of repeatedly. His music transports me to the moment I fell in love with music and made the questionable decision to dedicate my life to it. The Milk & Honey EP is no exception and packed with all the soothing, warm harmonies, silky grooves, bouncy rhythms, and luminous piano chord progressions one could hope for. I'm told, "'Milk & Honey' is best served chilled, on ice, during a warm summer day by the pool." While I do agree, I could literally be in an igloo on the North Pole or running from a lion in Kenya, and Jamie Prado's music would make either situation a blast.
