Dance music’s emerging stars are getting younger and younger with each passing year, as future house pioneer, Oliver Heldens, and French progressive house producer, Madeon, can tell you. The newest teenager to toss his name into the hat is the British 16-year-old producer Curbi, who was just signed to the world renowned dance imprint Spinnin’ Records, thanks to a little help from the label's own Dutchman, Oliver Heldens.
Prior to signing to Spinnin’ Records, the talented youngster had already been making tracks for a number of years, a feat which speaks to his musical talent. Now, Curbi has announced his first official Spinnin’ release, “Discharge,” a future house tune that draws from progressive and electro influences. Reminiscent of , the track was made for the main stage with its big, whomping bass lines, heavy kick drums, and infectious hi-hats. Check out “Discharge” below.
