[ALBUM REVIEW] Noosa: Wonderland

Noosa-1.jpg

Noosa (1) Noosa takes us through the looking glass into an ethereal world full of gossamer melodies & expansive synth filled adventures around every turn with her debut album 'Wonderland'. And unlike the classic story there is no evil queen or opium delirium to ruin the fanciful dream. In Noosa, it seems, the Mad Hatter has found the right balance of mood stabilizers.

Noosa, it's hard to believe, first came into our lives nearly two years ago with a self-titled EP that left us all at a loss for words. Noosa is the collaboration between Sky Barbarick & producer Mickey Valen. "Wonderland" was inspired by Noosa's long desired departure from New York and fascination with life's possibilities on the west coast. Escape from the world with one of the best LP's so far this year. "Wonderland" is already becoming the soundtrack to my summer.
