Hello. Thursday. Remixes.
Today Option4 shares a new remix of Brooklyn's Great Good Fine Ok's breakout single "You're The One For Me" featuring a sweeping melody and hypnotically bouncy bassline that will have you falling in love. Disclosure had a huge year, ya know, being nominated for a GRAMMY and appearing on countless year-end lists and all. They're finishing it out with the release of "January" (Kaytranada Edition) which appears on Settle - The Remixes, out in the US on December 17th. "Glory & Gore" is my personal favorite cut from Lorde's album 'Pure Heroine' and here with their hands deep in it, moving and shaking things around, is Unlike Pluto. Bill & Will are a new act on the house scene but have already received support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, who just released their newest remix of Rizzle Kicks' "Lost Generation." And taken from new album 'Love Letters,' Metronomy's "I'm Aquarius" is starry-eyed good fun, with shoo-doops and synths sitting beneath talk of star signs and dating crimes. Given a special sort of love by talented producer Edwin Van Cleef, the remix has already received its fair share of attention, which is a good indication of what we can expect from EVC in the near future!
