902468_563626607002453_613070797_oOdesza is a Seattle based production duo consisting Harrison Mills (Catacombkid) and Clayton Knight (BeachesBeaches). Best known for crafting effervescent and glitchy electronica, the duo are quickly becoming the next up and comers of the North East indie dance market. "Without You" is an addictive and highly caffeinated slice of breezy beat driven dance music. The song samples "Somebody That I Used To Know," but don't let that fool you as the final product bears minimal resemblance to Gotye's megahit and really gives the vocal lines a whole new feel. Glittering synth swells cascade around hyperactive vocal chops and a hip hop beat. The song carries a youthful feel that's as optimistic as it is ambitious. The best part is that the song is only one track on the duos recently released free Ep, My Friends Never Die, the entirety of which feels like a string of summer nights condensed down into song form.
