Rubblebucket: Save Charlie
Brooklyn's Rubblebucket simply hits the spot, and famed Communion Records (Daughter, Gotye, etc.) clearly agrees having just signed the art-pop 7-piece and who will be behind the release of their upcoming EP 'Save Charlie.' Think Electro Pop with Afrobeat nuances meets Funk highfiving New Wave - seriously, their sound is distinct but addictive. Kalmia's vocals are breathy yet so her own, while the band's trademark horn sections makes it all pop. It's down right refreshing to say the least.
The band will go on the road this September playing Communion Presents… a traveling showcase that will also have Willy Mason and more on it. Check out those dates below - and if you haven't already bypassed writing this and started your own personal dance party, get clicking and listen to the title track, below!
