White Label, a Scottish trio whose passion for vinyl, bootlegging and the works of everyone from Billie Holiday to John Lennon has led to the creation of a sound that can completely and entirely purport to offer the listener a truly retro experience. Having spent many late nights feeding audio – sampled from rare vinyl – through filters and passing “bits of guitar” between their respective locations in Berlin and London, Steve Aungle, Anth Brown and Tom Doyle finally created Stolen Voices, a bootleg remix album – available in both mp3 and vinyl formats – that takes the vocal and lead from a variety of scratchy 7″ vinyl rarities and builds them a brand-spanking new home.
