[PREMIERE] Unouomedude: Frequency (The Soundmen Remix)

KickKickSnare favorites The Soundmen are at it again. They have lovingly reworked Unouomedude‘s warm and hazy summer soaked song ‘Frequency‘ into something completely amazing. The Soundmen took a risk in clearing away the haze of sound and sonic clutter that really made you yearn for the sunlit and hungover hazy days of summer, but it was clearing this clutter that really made the melody stand out and take charge. Clearing clutter is just the tip of what they did, adding in strong percussion and bright twinkling synths evoke a lighter, brighter feeling of summer. Of course no song touched by The Soundmen would be a Soundmen track without that funky, strutty dance vibe. Honestly, these guys continue to make this radio edit lover and remix fan, maybe what it really took was someone who can make a remix that is hands now better than the original.
