No Diavolo is the product of the talented duo made up of Zachary Sewall (Good Graves) and Giulia Marsico. They describe their sound as “blues/soul/doo-wop aesthetic with a (sometimes eerie) minimalist hip-hop vibe.” I would have written at length about what I felt upon hearing ‘Holy Night’, but Zachary said it so perfectly, why mess with perfection? The eerie element is enthralling and reminds of Dan Black‘s gorgeously dark ‘Symphonies‘ and when combined with Giulia’s rich voice creates a hauntingly seductive sound.
