CAAN is a former member of Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, who until the tragic and untimely death of their lead signer was a shiny bright spot in the indie music world. Since then he keeps popping up in my facebook feed, and I am very glad he does. His track ‘Now Hear This My Friends’ is a beautiful melancholy pop ballad. It instantly makes me think of Blink-182‘s ‘I Miss You’, it has that same swirling wave of sound and emotion that lifts and carries you along for the entire song.
