Released yesterday, August 30th, the Frigg Off EP by boerd hits a very cool spot between lounge, drum-n-bass and house. boerd is the new solo project by producer/musician Bård Ericson from Stockholm, Sweden.
My favorite track off the EP is ‘Creation’. Drawing on playful elements that remind me of early 90′s dance-hop and keep that deep bass pulsing throughout the track.
‘Qhat’ is spacey and has pulsing, echoing elements that remind me of late 90′s trance made famous by Paul Oakenfold.
