Ginger Ninja are the “Copenhagen four piece ready and set to go and conquer your world with epic pop tunes.” Having done my internet sleuthing these guys are not lying. I have also come to the conclusion that there must be something in the water in Denmark, as the Danes seem to know just how to craft perfectly upbeat, breezy rock fused pop that doesn’t, in the least bit, take itself too seriously. ‘Sunshine’ was released in Denmark in 2010, but has just made it’s way to my ears this week and hasn’t let me stop wishing for sunshine or my much anticipated beach weekend since. Hopefully their album and “epic pop” reaches the US shores very soon, but for now only our Danish friends are lucky enough to have them.
