This guy! Talk about commanding the stage. Marc Broussard‘s newest album, “Marc Broussard” is due to be released in June 2011. An early release called “Marc Broussard EP” was released March 22, 2011 and features the new singles Lucky and Only Everything which I got to hear live during his Uptown performance. With distinct Southern roots, Marc’s style is best described as “Bayou Soul” seamlessly blending a mix of funk, blues and electrifying personality that makes it hard to forget that he isn’t a friend you’ve known your whole life. Broussard’s music is as mind-blowing as it is relatable and the gritty depth of his voice wildly unleashed a standing ovation from the Live in the Vineyard audience even before hitting his last note.
