Mister Gray dug into Michael Jackson‘s 1998 Bad album, pulled out Dirty Diana and gave her a dubstep remix-over. A song written about groupies, and a guy about to pick up some of his own. Round of an applause for the song choice, and for not annihilating the classic. Many dubstep remixes I’ve heard lately sound as if the original is being sent down a garbage disposal. But this is purely dessert via Mister Gray running smoothly through our speakers, with a side of kick and a healthy amount of repeatage.
MP3: Dirty Diana (Mister Gray Dubstep Remix) by Michael Jackson

nice song. wouldnt really call it a dubstep remix though
its got the beat but no real defined breakdowns, but you know its 2k10 so really anything can pass as a “dubstep remix.”
… where’s your featured tracks guys?
roughly 140 bpm, clap on the 3, fuzzy lfo modified bass. dang, textbook definition.
breakdowns in dubstep are the result of breakbeat and dnb producers writing dubstep and only became part of the “signature sound” in recent years.
go look up the dubstep entry on wikipedia!
dear kks and mister gray; DOPE TRACK!!!
@dk1 – Thanks for the compliment. I create music just for that reason. For people to enjoy it.
On another note, having a breakdown doesn’t classify a tune to be in a specific genre. I think dk1 explained it quite nicely. I just hope that you guys enjoy it. Whether in the club, in your car, at home, etc. ENJOY!!
