I had a nice dinner Friday at Soho House which is housed on the top two floors of 9200 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. The restaurant comes complete with panoramic views from the ocean to the San Gabriel Mountains and a garden terrace lined with Californian olive trees. Sutton’s friend is a member, so enjoying the extravagance was a treat. After the rest of my table settled down from spotting Zac Efron, the remaining portion of the night was actually quite enjoyable.
Saturday, Sutton and I were basically a Patagonia commercial. We drove out to Solstice Canyon and climbed waterfalls. About four hours later we were both covered in dirt, Sutton slashed his leg on a branch he fought and I had a major sweat imprint from the backpack I was lugging around. So many colors it felt like Fall. It was a beautiful day and I highly recommend the adventure. The first waterfall is about thirty feet, which connects to about ten smaller ones, each basically with their own infinity pool. Key note: It’s very private about half way up. There’s all sorts of stuff you could do up there..
I had my picture taken on Sunday which took up most of the day. Crisp white button up, black sports coat and a “sheet music” bow tie as pictured above. We’ll have the results later this week. I have absolutely no idea what to expect. But it was fun playing dress up and having a room full of people all playing their part for the sake of one humble head-shot.
