Rufus is one of those few artists who can bring a range of generations to fall in love with him and his work. This song leaves me speechless with chills every time. Easily my favorite song of his. Brilliant, heartbreaking, perfect, somber and celebratory all at once. If there were a Pulitzer Prize for songs, this would have won it. And if i had to listen to only one song for the rest of my life, this could very well be it.
